Funeral Services FAQs
I want to spend time with my loved one before the funeral, can I do this?
Yes – our chapel of rest provides a safe and peaceful space to spend time with your loved one. This could be with an open or closed coffin depending on what you feel is best for you and your family.
Can I help with washing and dressing of the person who has died?
Depending how and when the person died, we can offer a space to help wash and dress your loved one. If you would like to be present for this then this is an option open to you. Our mortuary and chapel space are also available for any religious rituals that need to be carried out.
Do I need to meet you in person to complete paperwork and discuss arrangements?
If you are able to, we will invite you to our funeral home in Bromley, however we can also facilitate phone and video calls to make the most convenient arrangements.
Do I have to use a priest or celebrant at a funeral?
No, you do not need to, however we can help you with recommendations if you do want somebody to lead the funeral service for you. This can be religious or non religious.
Can I choose a specific coffin?
Yes – we have many options available for you to choose
